All people are inspired by someone and/or something. I am inspired by the fascinating group of heartwarming people I like to call ethical heroes. These incredible humans are symbols of positive change, tangible hope, and sources of super powerful inspiration. They live by a simply defined moral code that governs their every day behavior and conduct. It's a code based simply on the desire to never pass up on an opportunity to do intentional good in the hope that the receiver's life is not only instantly improved, but also instantly motivated to do similar or comparable good for others.
What are the common characteristics of ethical heroes? Well, to begin with, they are not perfect and all knowing. They are human after all. They make their share of mistakes. They have opinions, beliefs, and meaningful dreams like any other person. However, they will never claim victory at the conclusion of any debated topic. They see unity and compromise as solutions to long-term problems. They are never defined by any social class and are often extroverts who have the utmost respect and admiration for kind introverts. They never accept anything more than a smile and a "thank you" for their appreciated deed(s). They are humble and their smiles speak volumes to those who understand them. Most importantly, they are never financially influenced to do anything.
So who and where exactly are my ethical heroes? They are every person who never hesitates to do simple, ordinary, extraordinary, and/or super good things that inspire others to create their own life-improving ripples. They are wealthy. They are poor. They are CEOs. They are cashiers. They are in every community on earth. They blog. They adventure. They travel. They teach. They invent. They are homeless. They are strong. They succeed. They fail. They win. They lose. They have hard-earned victories. They battle through incredible hardships. They speak different languages. They write life-improving books. You get the idea. They do everything and are everywhere. They are my ethical heroes & it has been, and always will be, my pleasure to provide them a helping hand when they need it most. An ethical hero/twitter friend of mine promotes what she likes to call the creation and release of kindness boomerangs to improve countless lives. That very thought and all the aforementioned great hearts inspire me each and every day to do my part to help people like her help others. #14ALL
