Caron Bryan, who started her career as a model, is the founder of Port City Models & Talent, Inc, a full service Model/Talent Management Firm representing 200 plus Models, Actors, Pro-Athletes and TV/Film Personalities for print, runway, television, video, voice-overs, films, industrials and personal appearances both nationally and internationally. Partnered with a Record Label, the firm also manages Recording Artists, with studios in New York, London, Beverly Hills and Tokyo. Being highly motivated to add to the cosmopolitan flavor of the city in her relentless efforts to put Portland on the National/International Fashion/Entertainment landscape, she was voted one of "Portland's Most Influential Women" for her contributions.
Caron is a Personal Trainer and operates Port City Ultimate Image, an Image/Wardrobe/Fashion Consulting enterprise offering corporate, as well as, 'personalized' makeovers, closet updates and personal shopping. She has held past positions as a Fashion Merchandising Director and Instructor at the college level, as well as, various boutique management, training and buying positions and has written articles on the Fashion/Modeling/Talent industries for a variety of publications. She enjoys clothing design, as well as graphic design and her accomplishments include the design of a branded corporate calendar and training handbook for outdoor retailer L.L. Bean.
Port City Models & Talent offers a comprehensive Model/Actor Development Program for those who have the look and desire to pursue their dream of working in this competitive billion-dollar industry. Having had a life-long passion and involvement in the worlds of Fashion/Modeling/Music/Entertainment, Caron is frequently called upon as an industry speaker and 'on air' judge for first round competitions for TV's, 'Top Model', 'American Idol', and various Scholarship Pageant Competitions, as well as to sit on the judging panels of National & International Model/Talent Competitions. Having appeared in many runway shows, as well as television and print ads, Caron continues to work in the industry and participated in Clint Eastwood's Oscar winning film 'Mystic River' in a scene with Tim Robbins. She attends NYC Fashion Week and the Cannes Film Festival annually and had the opportunity to interview performers on the Red Carpet at the London World Music Awards.
Caron currently produces several Charity Benefit Fashion Shows annually and volunteers at the Cancer Community Center and Well-Suited - the organization that assists women on the road to financial self-sufficiency by providing workplace attire at no cost. Having established a reputation for extreme attention to detail and working endless hours to obtain work for her talent, she has earned plenty of praise from clients, since launching her Model/Talent Management firm in 2000.
