Elizabeth Hamilton-GuarinoBest Ever You Co--Founder and Editor

Meet Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino

Mother, wife, Entrepreneur
Founder of Best Ever You

Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino is the founder of Best Ever You. She is 38, the mother of 4 boys and a Vice President at Dow Investment Group. She has been in the corporate financial industry for over 15 years and has chaired numerous conferences with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Elizabeth is also former child actor/model and has been in hundreds of TV commercials and appeared on billboards and magazines, including "Teen". She was Miss Iowa Teen in 1988. She began her college career at age 13, after scoring a near perfect on the college SATs. She graduated a year early from both high school and college.

At the age of 18, her parents went bankrupt and Elizabeth spiraled and was left dazed and confused, after their family business collapsed. Elizabeth put herself through college and was a broadcast journalist in Illinois at WQAD and Iowa TV-11 for a number of years.

At age 35, she decided to learn more about herself and continue to find her passions. To her, this meant learning to become an investment advisor, seeking to publish her children's book, becoming physically fit and getting her food allergies under control. . It meant a life overhaul--oh-- and picking up her old tap shoes again!!

In 2003, she thought she would try to accomplish some of that by entering the Mrs. California pageant. However, she and her family moved across the country to Maine before the pageant. In Maine, upon moving, Elizabeth took a job with WGME again as a broadcaster.

Continuing where she left off, in 2006, she entered the Mrs. Maine pageant and won. The process opened the doors and foundation for Best Ever You to come to life. Since 2006, Elizabeth has received over 8,000 emails from women and men around the country. She quickly discovered a number of people were following her story and dreams. However, Elizabeth began to see a need for women to have a place where many aspects of life's issues were covered.

Elizabeth and her husband Peter also own the Maine Cookie Company and have hand made and donated over 67,000 cookies to kids across the country since 2002 in connection with their passion, children's literacy.
