Children's book Self Confident Sandy teaches kids to believe in themselves

Sally Huss and I began working together after a mutual friend, Coach Joe Sperle, introduced us. Having so much in common, we joined forces to create two outstanding children’s books, adding to Sally’s already extensive line of popular children’s books. That collection now exceeds 100 books.

Self Confident Sandy was designed to promote self-confidence and self-esteem in children, an important step in any child's development. Distinguished professors and teachers in the field of childhood education have endorsed the book, as well as sports coaches, and life coaches in the field of personal development.

Patty Maxwell, a licensed behavior specialist said, "Self Confident Sandy contains an important message for all ages, even parents.  I'd highly recommended for any classroom, office or home library". Maxwell is also the owner of Engage Kidz LLC.

I'm again extremely honored to be working with Sally Huss on a second book. I am in awe of her work, which includes over 100 children's books. Everyone has a favorite Sally Huss book. Aside from the ones we have done together, some of my favorites are Positive Pete, Watching Watches, and Let's Play: The Importance of Exercise

Then, of course, there is A Lesson for Every Child: Learning About Food Allergies, which is dear to my heart because I am a person who has had life-threatening food allergies for over 24 years and am a spokesperson for multiple organizations that help raise awareness for food allergies.

"A Lesson for Every Child is well-written and engaging for children and families to learn more about the seriousness of food allergy and anaphylaxis and how to safely manage. I love the illustrations, which make it fun to read and learn; they are so delightful and upbeat. FAACT is honored to have Elizabeth as a spokesperson and to be included in such a wonderful education resource for families. Thank you, Sally and Elizabeth, said Eleanor Garrow-Holding, President and CEO of FAACT

I think readers will find Positive Pete and Self- Confident Sandy complement each other beautifully! Sally is talented in multiple areas of art and writing, and I love how she mentors others, sharing her knowledge and gifts freely. There is so much to learn from Sally Huss.
