It's begun. The holidays are on their way! (Many of us are still sugar-detoxing from Halloween.) Next up... multiple holidays with food & fun. Many of us, by January 1, have packed on at least an extra ten pounds, sending us into the cycle of New Year's Resolutions to lose weight and get healthy. While we may not have as many gatherings and parties this year, I believe food will find a way....

That said, what's your plan this year for your healthiest best you? If you are a person who struggles with this time of adding extra pounds and don't want to be in that same cycle this year, what actions are you going to take to change?

Consider purchasing a fitness tracker, such as a Apple Watch or a FitBit. Our family members are divided on which they prefer. There are various prices, features, styles, and sizes available. Our son loves the Apple Watch and I love my FitBit. You can't go wrong with either!

  • Have you either walked a mile today or exercised for 20 minutes? More?

  • How much water are you drinking?

  • What are you eating?

  • How much are you eating?
