It can be really common to eat sugar, carbs and comfort foods when you are feeling anxious and/or stressed out. If you feel this way, you could be complicating your situation by adding lower levels of well-being to your already stressed out self. It's also hard to catch yourself in this behavior, because it can be like a being on auto-pilot to reach for snacks. By the time you know it the snacks and bits of this or that add up and voila you have out-eaten your exercise for the day and you won't lose weight. You may even gain it.


Sooooo, stress eaters and snackers, you might have to schedule your eating and schedule your snacks and introduce extreme self-discipline. Self-discipline often only comes with feeling motivated. This too is a complicated hamster wheel to remove yourself from.


Nobody is perfect 24/7, but today's tip all has to do with awareness and a whole lot of self: self-love, self-worth, self-discipline, self-care and more.


One tip is to add a cup of vegetables to your day. This way you are adding things rather than subtracting things just yet, but what you have added contributes to your success rather than self-sabotaging behavior that blocks it.
