Be Kind


The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate; Kindness. Kindness is an act that many have given up on because they have lost sight of how easy it is to be kind.

If you knew your parents would not be in your life tomorrow, would you reach out to them to say goodbye? How about your partner? Your sibling? Your best friend?

You never know what is going to happen. Nobody can predict the future; so live in today, live in the now, and love those who you care about.


Little things, like calling your relatives, asking someone if they need help, or giving someone different a compliment everyday are all great ways to brighten the world.


One random at of kindness a day reduces stress, anxiety, and depression. It is as simple as smiling at someone, and meaning it. Be happy to be alive and let the world know who you are. By spreading the contagiousness of being nice to your community, you can change the world, one act at a time.

Being genuinely kind to somebody releases dopamine in the brain, giving you a helper’s high and boosts your psychological health. It is a great way to not only brighten someone else’s day, but also your own.

Tell someone you love them today. Tell someone you miss them; or maybe just call an old friend and see how they are doing. Help someone learn something. You never know what impact you can have on somebody’s life.

There is a lot of light in this world. Actually there is about 7.5 billion lights in this world and you get to choose how brightly you burn. Life’s a gift and you can choose how to spend it. Burn bright, and make the world a brighter place.
