Claudia Jordan is a TV Supermodel turned host. She was featured on "The Celebrity Apprentice" and she Co-hosted the "2009 Miss Universe Pageant" for NBC. She currently hosts "Claudia Jordan and Friends" and Co-Hosts the Foxxhole (with Jamie Foxx) both on Sirius Radio. Television fans know Claudia from her days on "The Price Is Right" and as Model #1 on "Deal Or No Deal". Claudia will soon star in a yet to be titled series on VH1.
How did you get where you are today?
Basically just putting one foot in front of the other. Never being close minded and being open to trying new things. When I first started in this business I would never have predicted I would be co-hosting a radio show with Jamie Foxx. But because I didn't just stay in one box and try to just be a model-I was open to trying out radio and comedy and here I am working alongside an Oscar winner every week
Have you ever been fired?
The only time I was fired was when I was on Celebrity Apprentice. It was odd and I almost wanted to laugh because I couldn't believe it. But I learned a lot from that experience and eventually Donald Trump hired me to host the Miss Universe Pageant... so it all worked out for me
What are your real passions?
I love to laugh, I love to cook, I love to make people laugh. I love running and working out. But I love to inspire others and spread my optimistic spirit and love of life. I want to live my life with no regrets.
If you won the lotto what would you do?
I would get some nice veneers! Lol-just kidding. I would probably blow some money in vegas on a craps table cause I just love the rush of rolling the dice (I know-I know I know) I would travel more than I already do. I want to take an alaskan cruise, buy my mother her dream house. Set up college funds for my 2 beautiful nieces Camile and Sofia. I would help out some hand picked people in need as well as randomly spread some joy to some homeless folks (something I already do) once I just approached an old lady and gave her $100 so she could buy som e shoes because her feet looked like they were in pain. It was heartbreaking. I would invest money to make sure my children will be well off. And of course I would step up my wardrobe since I NEVER buy expensive clothes. Oh and did I mention pay off all my bills and my 2 mortgages.
What do you hope to accomplish in the future?
I want to produce television shows and movies. I have always wanted to do that and work more behind the scenes putting deals together. I want to produce and host this fun and edgy financial show I wrote a couple years ago. I want to get married and have a little family (no more than 2 kids.) And I would love to run in some masters (35 and over) meets.
What do you like to do in your personal life?
I like to travel. I love to go to comedy clubs, I love to lay out by the beach and take in the sun and play around in the waves. Its no secret that I am a big kid at heart. I also love to cook turkey dinners and have get togethers at my house.
