One Day - The Future with a Population with Food Allergies

This is dedicated to children with food allergies and their future. Currently their Food Allergy Zone is mostly the classroom and at home. As they get older the zone expands to college, workplaces, hotels, restaurants and bars for socializing and more. The Food Allergy Zone expands into adults with food allergies, as this younger generation grows up the needs will change. One day, there will be Pilots with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if the airplanes will be nut free environments then... One day, there will be Teachers with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if the schools will be nut free environments then.... One day, there will be Doctors with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts, I wonder if the hospitals will be nut free environments then.... One day, there will be Workers in an office who have Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if they offices will be nut free environments then... One day, there will be Moms and Dads shopping in the Grocery Store with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if the grocery stores will be nut free environments then.... One day, there will be Men and Women eating out and even working at the restaurants with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if the restaurant will label the ingredients and avoid cross-contamination or even be nut free environments. One day, there will be Congressmen, Presidents, Senate Members with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if they might make changes. One day, there will be an Astronaut with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder if his or her flight and food will be nut free. One day, a parent won't grieve from the loss of a child over eating french fries, chocolate mousse or food from a food court because of allergies. One day, there will be a Lawyer with Anaphylaxis to peanuts and tree nuts. I wonder what laws he or she will advocate for with respect to food allergies. I wonder what changes these 1 in 13 children with food allergies in 2017 will make in the years to come. Think with your heart. Percolate Peace. My Best, Elizabeth
