An All-Star Night for ALS and the Peter Frates Family Foundation

The GNCBL Select Team, Northeast Tides and Lexington Blue Sox, together, raised thousands of dollars for ALS at the GNCBL Baseball All-Star Game and Event.

The teams partnered to help the Peter Frates Family Foundation bring awareness and to raise money for ALS. Peter Frates was a former member of the Blue Sox and through his courageous fight with the disease, inspired the "Ice Bucket Challenge"

“Thank you to the Lexington Blue Sox, Northeast Tides and especially the Frates family for joining our 2021 GNCBL All Stars and making the event a very special one. I know that I can speak for all of our guys in saying that it was a really special night and that it would be great to be able to have this type of event every year," said GNCBL Commissioner and Founder, Max Salvesky.

Manny Delcarmen also pitched and was available to all for autographs.

John and Nancy Frates attended and John threw the first pitch.
