The Space Discovery Zone invites kids and adults alike to dive into the science of space travel. Visitors can explore a life-sized replica of a Project Mercury capsule, pilot a simulated space shuttle, and even experience a taste of zero gravity in a multi-person gyroscope that mimics astronaut training. A replica EVA suit lets guests get a feel for the bulky but vital equipment astronauts rely on in orbit, while interactive exhibits bring the moon, Mars, and the mysteries of the galaxy within reach.

It’s not just a thrill—there’s a strong educational component woven throughout. WonderWorks uses the excitement of space to foster curiosity and teach real-world concepts in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).
