The Best Ever You Network Sponsors Mud Tug at RIT!

The Best Ever You Network is proud to announce we are the Diamond Sponsor of this year's Mud Tug at Rochester Institute of Technology!

Just what is Mud Tug you ask?

Mud Tug is an annual tug-of war competition held on Rochester Institute of Technology ("RIT") campus with all proceeds benefiting Hillside Family of Agencies.

It is the second largest student run event on campus (after Relay for Life) and broke the Guinness World Record for “Largest Tug-of-War Tournament” in 2012. Teams of up to 10 people tug against one another over mud pits in men’s, women’s, and co-ed brackets. The event features a DJ and food for all participants and spectators. Since 1996, Mud Tug has become a tradition on RIT’s campus, with students, faculty and staff members attending each year.

This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Mud Tug. About Hillside Family of Agencies Hillside Family of Agencies is one of the largest non-profit agencies in New York State, with its cornerstone residing in Rochester. Hillside Family of Agencies partners with youth, adults and their families to provide individualized health, education and human services through an integrated system of care.

The organization provides child welfare, mental and physical health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York. Since 2010, Phi Kappa Psi and Zeta Tau Alpha have made visits to Hillside Family of Agencies, so that they have a better connection with the kids and understanding of the services Hillside Family of Agencies provides.

Who are Phi Kappa Psi and Zeta Tau Alpha? Phi Kappa Psi (ΦΚΨ) and Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) are two recognized Greek organizations at RIT. Since 1995, ΦΚΨ and ZTA have teamed up each fall to host Mud Tug, a philanthropic event created with the sole purpose of giving back to our community through Hillside Family of Agencies.

How can you help? Monetary and non-monetary donations are a huge help in the success of Mud Tug. Monetary donations are used directly for supplies, food, operation, and promotion of the event.
