What made you decide to be a health and life coach?

My journey into coaching began with a deep passion for helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. While navigating some of life's challenges, I discovered that I've always been fascinated by the study of people and cultures. Growing up with parents from very different lifestyles and backgrounds, I naturally gravitate towards diversity. My professional experience includes working for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, as well as serving as a state employee advocating for individuals with disabilities or mental illness. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful small shifts in behavior, beliefs, and mindset can be in transforming lives. This inspired me to dedicate my work to guiding others toward alignment, balance, and personal growth.

Where have you lived, and do you like to travel?

I've lived in California, Washington, and Iowa. I enjoy traveling very much, especially to Europe and have plans to visit India and Asia.

Where did you go to school?

I attended two different grade schools, two junior high schools, and three high schools, ultimately graduating in Washington State. I graduated from Drake University in 2002, where I enjoyed studying Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology, as I love learning why people behave in specific ways. Living in different states and being around diverse groups of people has helped cultivate my love of assisting others. I have earned certifications for Life Coaching from the The Best Ever You Network accredited by Wainwright Global Institute of Professional Coaching and The Health Coach Institute.

Do you have a workout routine?

Yes! I love riding my bike when the weather permits, and I also enjoy hiking. I try to incorporate yoga or Pilates into my weekly routine. When the weather is nice, I also enjoy long walks around lakes or on trails.

Do you meditate or journal?

I meditate every morning. I have a specific spot in my house where I focus on gratitude. I also visualize images from my vision board or images that reflect my goals. I have not yet implemented a consistent journaling routine, however, I would like to. Being outdoors

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have two male cats who are brothers and were rescued. I feel pets can bring so much joy to one's world.

Elaborate on your coaching philosophy.

I love empowering others to draw upon their strengths and be their best selves. I truly enjoy being by someone's side while they implement new strategies and ways of living in a positive and healthy, holistic way. The healthier an individual becomes in any area of their life, the more it positively impacts all other areas, creating holistic change. Creating meaningful change starts with the habits we build. I guide clients to identify and replace limiting behaviors with sustainable routines that support their goals. Whether it’s improving productivity, enhancing health, or fostering emotional balance, my coaching focuses on helping you create habits that align with the life you envision. Sustainable change starts with small shifts in mindset, behavior, beliefs, and identity.

Mission: My mission is to guide individuals toward holistic well-being and lasting transformation by fostering alignment, growth, and resilience. Grounded in a deep love of nature, I draw inspiration from its balance, strength, and ability to nurture growth. Just as nature thrives through harmony, my goal is to help you align your mind, body, and spirit to achieve your fullest potential.
